Rural Retreat
The design brief of this project was simply to create a beautiful, timeless shaker kitchen for a large country home. We kept things classic yet uncomplicated and added small details like drawers in the canopy support and frieze style cornice. To reflect this property’s rural setting we used oak sparingly and created a solid oak island that provided a beautiful contrast to the soft off white of the main kitchen cabinets.
