The owners of this central London kitchen wanted the space to be very minimal but also reflect a strong use of natural material. This has been achieved through the use of thick limestone worktop with a riven edge chiselled by hand with flush handle-less drawers below and use of reflective polished stainless steel plinth on the island seating. The surrounding cabinets again are all flush in a dark stained American black walnut to provide an interesting and bold contrast to the industrial steel appliances.
