The kitchen was designed to go into a very contemporary new build house situated in rural countryside in the South of England. Although the house was very contemporary the kitchen’s centre piece was the large 5 oven Aga. We decided to opt for a minimal overall design and use Walnut on flush doors and drawers to add the depth in the scheme. We used an extra thick stone worktops to give the cabinets weight whilst introducing a vivid blue glass splash back to provide additional colour to balance the abundance of walnut and white stone.
