We wanted to create a ‘New York Warehouse’ feel with this project so opted for simple white cabinets with a soft classic moulding on the doors with contrasting black handles and black granite worktops. We wanted the colour aspect of this project to come from the client’s belongings so we introduced bookshelves along the top of all the wall units to allow a subtle introduction of colour in this otherwise monochrome space. With the introduction of a large stainless steel extractor, chrome tap fittings and the clients black and brushed metal stools a very chic and contemporary feel that would sit happily in a central London home as it would in a New York loft apartment.
