Contemporary Family Living

This kitchen was designed to go into a contemporary extension of a large Victorian Villa in London. The client was keen for the kitchen to match the style of the new modern extension yet wanted to still keep warmth and depth in the design. We achieved this by being careful in proportioning the amount of cool white painted cabinets against the warmth of the stained American black walnut. Included in the project was a home office space which was integrated into the kitchen cabinets . We also designed and made the table and bench seating within the large family dining space opposite the main kitchen and a contemporary take on a classic dresser to store and display the family’s crockery and glassware.
