The aim of this project was to create an elegant yet practical family kitchen keeping the palette quite neutral and deliberately using a paired back shaker style to allow the natural beauty of the solid American black walnut breakfast bar and Carrara marble wall tile to shine through. We also wanted the client’s extensive collection of Asian porcelain to be able to be displayed with the furniture’s’ simplicity contrasting beautifully with the delicate intricacy of the chinaware.
